The VULASTIK L coupling is one of the most versatile VULKAN disccouplings in industrial applications. The coupling is suitable for the operation in electric-motor or diesel engine drives but also hydraulic drivelines. The VULASTIK L is a highly flexible torsional coupling in differentstiffness-grades which compensates axial, angular and radial misalignments of the connected machinery. The maximum permissible angulardisplacement of the coupling is 0.5°. The VULASTIK L elements aremade from heat-resistant rubber for permissible operating temperaturesof -50°C to +80°C ambient. Alternatively elements in silicone are available for operating temperatures from -50°C to +120°C. VULASTIK Lcouplings are available in several design versions, sizes and up to 7 different torsional stiffness characteristics. With these features an optimumtorsional tuning of the different drives will be achieved.
